Zokusei-no-Switch (Switch of Attribute)

Zokusei-no-Switch (Switch of Attribute)

The "Zokusei-no-Switch (Switch of Attribute)" is a special inte- ractive feature released exclusively for the application in rela- tion to the exhibition "The Definition of Self," directed by Masahiko Sato. Participants respond to eight questions concer ning "attribute," which eventually reveal the nature of their "attributes."
The questions are comprised of questions related to "attribute" that were previously used in the "Nihon-no- Switch" project by the Keio University Masahiko Sato Laboratory, as well as questions newly conceived in line with the concept of this exhibition.
*An English version of the "Zokusei-no-Switch" will be released in the future.

Seiichi Hishikawa's message

What does novelty mean for 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT?
How can the value of visiting the place be rendered visually? How can such experience be captured?
We touched on these ideas and concepts inherent to the "place called 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT," and reflected on their origin. First off, we worked on creating an iPhone application as a contact point for the actions that produce the value of experiencing the place. Not only is the distribution of an application new, the human relationships that result from it are new as well. Easy to understand, and a bit quirky--it's a "human-like" application.
