Special Exhibition “REALITY LAB” 2010.11.16 (Tue) - 12.26 (Sun) How can design provide a solution to various problems the manufacturing industry is facing? This exhibition will focus on the latest work by Issey Miyake, using recycled materials to make both clothing and products. Our goal is to provide an opportunity to reflect together upon the nature and possibilities of design that are revealed within the process of creation. |

Exhibition “SHIRO KURAMATA and ETTORE SOTTSASS” 2011.2.2 (Wed) - 5.8 (Sun) This exhibition presents furniture and small works created by leading Japanese designer Shiro Kuramata, and new art piece, “Kachina,” by Italian designer Ettore Sottsass. The two assiduously sought the possibilities of creation while communicating through the language of design, dreaming together, pursuing beauty, and cultivating friendship. The message of the two prompts us to reconsider the meaning of “design” and “creation.” |
